Jules Anderson Photographer

 

 I'm based in Carters Beach, Westport, South Island. My photography work is varied and I cover Editorial, Commercial, Portraiture and Landscape photography.

Raised in a family where photography's importance was paramount for telling stories and events of our family life, I soon realised at a young age I needed to also document my life stories through the camera.

​

My extensive understanding of the purest form of photography, that began in the dark room of an era past, has enable me to master the camera and create a style which captures the play of light and mood within land and sea,  The West Coast of the South Island is a stunning location for dramatic and beautiful imagery as you can view on my landscape page.

My desire to learn more about photography and art took me to Wellington and Christchurch Polytechnic's gaining a Diploma in Professional Photography.

I am also a Accredited member of NZIPP

My camera is my tool to communicate life stories of people and the landscape we live in.
